Our CEO and President

 

Hank Ross, Founder and CEO

As founder and CEO of Ross Health Care, a home care company serving central and western Oklahoma. Today, his company is one the most comprehensive and largest home care company’s in Oklahoma and one of Chickasha’s largest employers.

Hank Ross grew up in Chickasha, where his family has a second generation business. He received a B.S. in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University and then went on to earn a MBA from Oklahoma City University. He has over 23 years of senior management experienced in healthcare. He is board certified in Healthcare Administration and a past diplomat of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He served 14 years in the Oklahoma National Guard, which included a tour in the gulf region during Desert Storm.

Active in his community, Hank is currently serving as Mayor of Chickasha. He is past President of The Center of Family Love, a home serving the mentally retarded. In addition, he serves on the Board of Advisors for First National Bank of Oklahoma. Recently, Governor Fallin appointed Hank Ross to the Oklahoma State Medical Board of Licensing and Supervision.

In the past, Hank has also served as City Councilman and Board Chairman for the Economic Development Council. He also was appointed to the City planning commission. He has also served on various local boards including The Chickasha Chamber of Commerce, Chickasha School Foundation, and Special Young Adults. He is also is a class XX graduate of Leadership Oklahoma.

Hank is married to his wife Alison of 23 years who also is a Registered Nurse and works with him in their business. They have three children Alex, Andrew and Caleb.

 

 


Cindy Longanacre, RN, CHPN
President

Ms. Longanacre is employed as the President of Ross Health Care. Cindy began her nursing career with 2 years in hospital oncology nursing, receiving the Excellence in Nursing award from Norman Regional Hospital at the end of that tenure. Since that time, she has had over 15 years experience in hospice care and management, beginning with Community Hospice. While working for this company, she opened or assisted in opening 5 branch offices throughout Oklahoma. She also spent time as Community Hospice’s corporate education coordinator, developing a comprehensive training program for nurses entering the field. Since that time, she has held several leadership positions with Vistacare Hospice of Oklahoma City and most recently has served as manager of Mercy Hospice with Mercy Health Center of Oklahoma City. Cindy was one of the first nurses in Oklahoma to earn the Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse designation. She is co-author of the book, “Hospice, a Labor of Love” and is a national speaker for PESI Healthcare, conducting full-day seminars across the country on topics related to death and dying. She has also presented in many other forums, including the National Hospice Organization conference. She has served as consultant for various hospices in and around Oklahoma. She recently attended the Hospice Administrator’s Certification Program in New Orleans. She is a member of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association. Cindy received her nursing degree from Redlands Community College in El Reno, Oklahoma.
