Who can stay with my aging family members when I cannot be there?

By Janie Janzen

The question of care for a family member when their loved one is not present is one that continually worries family members. Our Private Duty service is designed to give family members the peace of mind that comes from the knowledge their loved one is being cared for properly, even if they are absent. The goal of Ross Health Care Private Duty Service is to assist our clients with everyday needs to allow them to remain in their homes as long as possible.
Services can be provided in a variety of settings, including the client’s home, a skilled nursing unit, an assisted living facility or in a hospital room. We provide free on-site assessment and evaluation in order to determine the specific needs of each individual. An individualized care plan is then developed based on the preliminary assessment of the client’s needs.
Some of the services provided include: assistance with activities of daily living, medication reminders, meal preparation, shopping & errands, companionship, safely walking & transferring, personal care, and light housekeeping. Private duty services are available by the hour including 24 hour continuous care.
And at Ross safety is our first priority. That’s why Ross Health Care employees are carefully screened, including background checks, complete reference checks, and drug screening. Our employees are bonded and insured.
While this is a private pay service, numerous payment options are available. Please contact Janie Janzen at (580) 213-3334 with any questions you may have.
